Kindergarten Activities
Outings
Monthly outings are organised by the school for each year group in order to give our students an opportunity to learn beyond the school grounds.
Open Day
Every Christmas period, we invite parents and guardians to join us for a morning filled with fun activities, carols, delicious treats and many more surprises.
Mother’s / Father’s Day
We celebrate these occasions by inviting the respective parent or guardian to school for a morning filled with fun activities and community bonding.
Field Day
Parents are invited to come and watch our kinders participate in an annual fun-filled day of activities and organised games to promote a love for active lifestyles, teamwork and community.
Career Week
During career week, the school organises several educational visits to provide the children with firsthand experience about important professions. These include visits from a dentist, the police department and civil protection unit. To make Career Week even more exciting, we also organise a dress-up day where children can come to school dressed as their favourite professional. Whether it’s a doctor, firefighter, artist or astronaut, we encourage children to get creative and explore their career aspirations through their outfits.
Annual Concert
Each year group has the chance to shine on stage during their annual concert. These occasions encourage confidence building, creativity and expression as well as teamwork and community engagement.
Book Week
At St. Michael School, we aim to instil a love of reading and show our students how magical books can be from a very young age. During Book Week, various activities are organised including Storytime with Ms. Joyce, our beloved storyteller who captivates the children with her engaging and animated storytelling, a character dress-up day and many other activities.
Nature Exploration
This includes nature days and activities incorporating natural elements such as leaves, rocks and flowers for children to investigate and learn about the world around them.
Fun Days
Many themed “Fun Days” are organised by the school to make learning varied and interesting to all our little students. They may involve music sessions, cooking sessions, bubble machine play and much more.
Tuff trays
These offer endless possibilities for hands-on learning and fun. They help develop fine motor skills, creativity and sensory awareness in a safe and engaging way.
Sensory Play
Activities involving sensory play are regularly designed, using materials like sand, water, rice or pasta to create a tactile and stimulating environment.
Small World Play
Our dedicated teachers engage our little learners by setting up miniature scenes with toy figures, vehicles and buildings to inspire imaginative play.
