Social & Emotional Wellbeing

Looking after our students’ social and emotional well-being is crucial to us as a School. In this way, we are able to foster a supportive and nurturing environment where students can thrive academically, build resilience and develop strong, healthy relationships.

Pastoral Care

The School strongly believes in the pastoral care and well-being of all its students and educators. A team of professional counsellors, psychologists, PSCD teachers, support teachers, therapists (speech, behavioural, play and occupational) as well as literacy specialists and school nurses, all form part of the team, and are ready to assist any child who may need some sort of support. The School has school chaplains and mass is said on a monthly basis. In the School’s ongoing pursuit to meet students’ changing needs, sensory rooms have also been set up for students who may need personalised sensory input.

Healthy eating is also promoted whereby children are encouraged to consume food and drinks which contribute to a heathy lifestyle. A canteen in the Senior School also promotes this lifestyle.
