St. Michael Foundation
A Learning Support Educator works closely with subject teachers to provide personalised support to students with diverse learning needs. They assist in developing and adapting lesson plans, ensuring students receive the help required to achieve academic, social and behavioural goals. LSEs work one-on-one or in small groups, offering guidance in areas like reading, writing, math, and social skills. They also help manage classroom behaviour, promote inclusion, and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive learning environment.
