Murals Inspired by Animal Colours & Patterns

As part of a programme to embellish our school with more art and colour, this year’s Visual Art class of Form VI embarked on a project to create two murals that were installed on the facade of our school. Students had been working on the project for the last month.

The theme as a starting point was to research different animal species. Based on the various colours, texture and patterns of different types of animals, students had to create a number of detailed sketches. Finally, eight abstract designs were created and enlarged to fit the wood panels in actual size.

By means of these artistic creations, the school promotes such programmes as a means to encourage a positive visual attitude towards our school as well as to provide different and new artistic experiences to our students.
